=== A little about this site ===

Well, I am the creator of this page.. there is more to this story. The web content and the web style was composed by me. The web is based on wiki framework ([https://www.mediawiki.org/ Mediawiki]) so I setup application to host this page. That would require me set up a Linux Apache MySQL PHP ([https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-lamp-stack-on-ubuntu LAMP]) server. So I installed and configured the server. All this Software would need to work on a reliable machine so I built a fanless i7 Server with a raid 1 array running [https://ubuntu.com/download/server Ubuntu server]. Its about 8 years old and has been operating 24/7 all this while. I had to set up the domain and forward network traffic to my home. That was done with [https://www.noip.com/ noip.com] and dynamic DNS. No I am not an expert in web design or Linux but I have picked up skills that I enjoy using and deploying things that I pick up and this site is proof of that.

Quick and dirty.. Its a site I am creating to allow us to:

a) Communicate with each other

b) Share Job postings of jobs or ways to find work

c) Collaborate with ideas and news

d) If anyone needs help we will try

e) form a launching pad for promoting yourself like CVs and past experience to share with prospective employers.

Well this site is only editable by users that I create, Other people can view it only. There are two sites superimposed on one another. Its not hard to edit.

saadwiki.no-ip.biz allows users to log in and edit and view content and

amplexer.com which only allows you to view. the Edit tabs are removed.

Things are untested and new so expect things to go wrong. Be aware that the website is viewable by the public so any information you put in has global reach. don't put personal or confidential information. I will not be held responsible. Be kind and do not edit other users content except to help them. It is my site I am the admin and what I say is final and though I don't expect it from you all be aware I may have to remove you from the user list.

I can give a basic training on how to do stuff if needed. for the moment log in with username Guest and pw GU25@Saad at the bottom of this page. and see if you can edit a page... Click on your name to create the page. One you have created your page and the link changes color from red you should be able to copy the link and share it (thats the theory)
